How nice it is to trust that Valparaiso 1st "family" would welcome warmly a returning guests. Princess Adjei-Frimpong really enjoyed the special greetings and looked for "Margie" and "Mike". Pastor Jacob also personally welcomed her so that people made their way to greet her. Thanks church...that's why we are just the best. Princess is on her way to Michigan State where she will begin her 3rd year of her doctoral studies which focuses on Plant and Soil research.
Thanks to all who supported the monthly mission focus this month...Fuente Torres Church in East Chicago. Connecting with this new congregation (and growing a 2nd site already) will so appreciate the funds that will go toward the window replacement at the old YMCA building. The glass block windows are being replaced with windows that can be opened for ventilation and allow for more light in the various areas. We hope to take a field trip to this church one of these days...just have to find the time to make the arrangements and get a date. We are sure to include lunch at a Mexican Restaurant!!!
