Thanks for the Fabric Scraps

Our mission team continues to prepare for departure on June 12.   One of the requests from our hosts in Dominican Republic was to bring 2 suitcases of fabric scraps to be used for making quilt pieces (not necessarily a quilt).   Our missionary Ardell has a project in mind when working with the women in the churches.    We have more than two 50 pound suitcases filled.  THANKS.
We still need 4 inch paint brushes to help parishioners in the painting of the new parsonage they have been constructing for their pastor.

Much of our time in Monte Rojo will be spent with children.  We have parachutes for outdoor fun, crafts, games and Bible stories ready to go.  Squeezing 160 back packs into our suitcase could be interesting but these back packs will be a big hit for the children of our host community.

Follow us on the blog...maybe.   It will depend upon how much internet is available in Samana.
