Update on the Treadmill for Kissy Hospital

As you may remember the miracle of the treadmill for Kissy back in May.   With little time available, a need expressed by Steven Moinia, the physical therapist at Kissy Hospital went from not possible to do within a week to being done in 6 days.   Now we have a couple of photos that were sent to the church family at Valparaiso 1st with words of thanks.

On June 13, 2016 Steven said "We offloaded the container last Friday. The new Treadmill was among. Its much advanced than previous ones. We are enjoying using it. The patients too are very much happy with it. Much appreciation to the church and all who made this a possibility. God bless.  Steven"

I received these photos today (thus the prompting to get with blogging again).   His words in an email on August 18, 2016:
"Dear Bonnie,
Greetings from Kissy! I just opened your email and realized you have no idea about us with regards our recent Treadmill. Am sorry this great joy reached you so late. It was my favorite equipment ever received from the US. I understood later on, that it came from the First UMC in Valpo.
I was confident however that my message below reached you because my appreciation note (email) was sent to Indiana.
Again, my deepest application for all your supports in helping the people of Sierra Leone and more importantly for capacitating us accomplish Christ mission. May the Lord continue to abundantly bless you, your family, the church, and the entire USA family."
