Getting the last 8 cases of KAH food packets to the South Bend's Broadway Christian Parish UM Church became a field trip for some members of our mission team. Almost before we got out of the car, two helpers at the mission came bounding out the door and quickly carried the cases to food pantry.

Nancy Nichols, pastor and executive director of the mission, gave us a tour of the church where Pastor Jacob began his ministry. Mike Strayer, Connie and Max Roach, and Gene and Bonnie Albert were amazed at the overall out reach to the homeless community in the area. The Broadway facility is used every day by those who call this place home. Breakfast, showers, place for doing laundry are but a few of the offerings.
Our communion offerings are being sent to BCP to help support this mission church and their outreach to the community. Please consider giving generously each month to this worthy cause. This church can only keep its doors open with the help of surrounding churches who believe the ministry is an extension of what Jesus would expect us to be about in our hurting world today. We are blessed through service with others.
