We have arrived in beautiful Guatemala!

What a great group of travelers!  After a quick sleep in Chicago the planes and vans have have been perfect nap opportunities all day Saturday.  Lots of luggage has been loaded and unloaded at least 4 times.   The important part is some of our team seems relatively rested and are now walking the streets of Panajachel a few opted to stay in to catch the Blackhawks game on TV.  You've guessed it we are really roughing it.  Our host said if we were really want the stereotyped mission trip accommodations for just $5 more he would be happy to transfer us.   The owner of the Inn loves to have this kind of tourist.  Dinner tonight was beautifully served,  Mayan lasagna, mixed marinated veggies, warm bread with I salted butter, a cold rice drink (no one can spell it), and a strange dessert (small puff balls of dough in a sweet sauce).
Tomorrow we exchange money, load vans for a ride to a quaint area, have lunch and attend worship services before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Enjoy a few photos.  More another time. Thanks for all your support and prayers.
